This project was done by Morgan Stewart for Georgia Sitara's History 232 Class at the University of Victoria, March 2001.

The following sights were used as additional sources to those linked above (in particular as sources for the photos used):

You have arrived at a site designed to give you many entry points into Canadian history. For each year since Confederation I have put together an independent link to a biography, event or concept.

Since history can never be told from enough perspectives to create a complete picture, I decided this would be an interesting way to give me and you access to Canadian History in an intertwined and connected fashion that will better our understanding. Creating this project has certainly broadened my knowledge.

I have relied heavily on non-traditional sources. Many of the links are to short biographies or descriptions provided by institutions that are either named after, founded by or are intrinsically connected to these histories. Detailed traditional academic sources are generally not available on the web and many of these pieces are both unsource and short. However, their presence quickly ties you through further links to the living and changing reality of Canadian life.

All I ask is that you learn, enjoy and explore even if you come back here no more.
